330Ci vs M3 Brakes. I've recently taken a project in hand and changed the entire rear end of an 330CI to M3. I've also changed the front brakes to M3 and with that I had to change few things to get the front working. The problem im countering are: it feels like there is either air in the system or the ABS is having probelm.
Basically the s54 engine has much higher volumetric efficiency, is higher displacement and revs higher. For what it is worth, you can get ~300-350 hp out of the 3.0 while still staying normally aspirated and without boring or stroking the engine. Check out some of the club race cars based on the e46 platform.
27127 posts · Joined 2005. #13 · Feb 23, 2011. yes it will fit. but does need some fender shims and movement in/out/up wards where it touched the hood to fit/look good. the oem m3 hood is a little bit higher so you need to raise the fenders some to make flush, and up by the fender to windshield is tighter so the fenders need to be moved
