Hi All, I own a 2010 Fiat Ducato 130 multijet 2.3 diesel. When changing the oil I can only get 5 litres out when the capacity should be 6.5 litres. The new oil is immediately filthy so I believe 1.5 l is remaining in the engine somewhere. But if you can find a gear-change linkage that will change all those 6 speeds without getting cross-legged, you will be doing even better! Beware! I have just completed a full engine replacement in my 3 litre Ducato and it is just as easy to remove the motor and box all in one. As Corcai said, once you disconnect the driveshafts, it's not so bad. I have never worked on anything like this before and I wouldn't be in any hurry to repeat the experience.

Always change my gear oil every 100,000 miles (once a year) touch wood but not had an issue yet on 3 ducatos, have to say though the box on my Euro6 year old van does crunch in random gears and reverse is often a pig to select, it’s having its oil changed at next service. 1. dpHx.
